Jumping Spider FAQs

Do you sex spiders?
We list age stage and size. Sexing juveniles is unreliable; subadults may be sexed when clear.
What do I feed jumping spiders?
We like mealworms - they come in many sizes and are commonly available. Any soft bodied insect is fine: crickets, dubia roaches, waxworms, fly larvae, etc.
Can I put two spiders in one enclosure? No, spiders must be homed individually to avoid stress (and cannibalism)
What size enclosure should I get for a jumper?
It depends! Sizing varies on species and age:
-Otiosus, Adambratus = 3×3×6" or 4×4×4"
-Regal Juveniles = 3 x 3 x 6" or 4×4×4"
-Regal Sub-Adults & Adults = 4×4×8"
-Other species vary, email us!
