Meet Moira 🩷
Moira is a freshly molted adult female Goliath (little bigger than your average regal but not as big as apalochacola) Regal with such a fun and friendly personality. Before her final molt, she was missing one pedipalp — and while they often grow back, she decided she’s perfect just the way she is. It doesn’t slow her down one bit!
She’s adorable, outgoing, and loves to hang out. Moira’s the kind of spider that makes you smile the whole time she’s out — confident, curious, and full of charm. 🕷️✨
All jumping spiders need a home with cross-ventilation — this is absolutely essential for their health. The 5x8 enclosure is the ideal size; I don’t recommend anything larger. Bigger setups can make it harder for them to find food, and many stop eating when their space is too open.
Avoid glass enclosures — they don’t provide the airflow your spider needs. The medium (3x5.75) home is too small!! Proper cross-ventilation is key to keeping your spider happy and healthy. 💨
